About us

The Northwest Lightning is an alliance between the Pennant Hills and Westbrook junior AFL clubs to promote girls football in the Hornsby and Hills Shires. We play in all age divisions across the AFL Sydney Juniors competition.

How to register

Registrations for 2026 are now open. The 2026 season will commence in April and conclude in August.

To play with the Northwest Lightning, you will need to register through one of our alliance clubs. Choose the club that’s nearest you, or the club that you have previously registered with.
