Play with the Northwest Lightning in 2025! 

The Northwest Lightning is an alliance between the Pennant Hills, Westbrook and Hornsby-Berowra junior AFL clubs to promote girls football in the Hornsby and Hills Shires. We play in all age divisions across the AFL Sydney Juniors competition.


Registrations for 2025 are now open.

The 2025 season will commence in April and conclude in August.


To play with the Northwest Lightning, you will need to register through one of our alliance clubs. Choose the club that’s nearest you, or the club that you have previously registered with. The clubs accept NSW Government Active Kids vouchers – make sure you have the voucher code ready to complete your registration and payment.
